Voices at Work

Voices at Work is a co-produced research and change programme led by disabled people. During Phase 1, disabled people shared their experiences of finding, keeping and progressing in work, helping us better understand the barriers that continue to exist in workplaces.

The findings from Phase 1 have been brought together in the Voices at Work report, which sets out key findings and practical recommendations for employers, policy makers and support organisations. The report is available to download by clicking here.

We are now delivering Phase 2 of the project in partnership with NHS Scotland. Building on the findings from the research, this phase focuses on working alongside NHS staff and disabled people to explore how large employers can create more inclusive workplaces and improve the experiences of disabled employees.

Through collaboration, co-production and lived experience, Voices at Work aims to drive meaningful change and support more disabled people to thrive and progress in employment.

Young People Service Development Project

Throughout 2025 a small team undertook a project, funded by the National Lottery Community Fund. We sought to engage with disabled young people and their families across Glasgow, to better understand their needs and challenges to inform a future young person’ service.

Through workshops, group discussions, and one-to-one chats, they gathered real stories and ideas to help build services that reflect what young people actually want and need.

The project concluded in December 2025. You can see the full report by clicking this link: Young People's Project report.
